Kul-Well
For rural tourism service providers and cultural actors in the Slovenian-Hungarian border region
who need sustainable ways to strengthen well-being and local development,
we are developing a cross-border cultural and wellness tourism initiative that builds on shared traditions and rural identity to create jointly developed quality standards for unique cultural experiences, which are summarized in a practical handbook on well-being-oriented tourism.
With our help, they can test the standards through pilot actions and join the Amazon of Europe Hub, a permanent public-private network, enabling stakeholders to modernize local traditions and offer inclusive, high-quality experiences to different target groups seeking authentic, nature-based recreation.
Our solution is better than fragmented tourism approaches
because it combines culture, wellness, and sustainability into a unified, cross-border tourism model.
