E-COOP
E-COOP – Digital Cooperatives
Whether it is about cities, metropolitan areas or small settlements in rural areas, building or re-building communities, and transforming them into a driver of development is a challenge everywhere in Europe. The targets set in the European Digital Agenda, establishing equal access provide a powerful toolset for both stakeholders and decision-makers, but realisation often remains incomplete and ineffective. The partners of E-COOP collect, organise and adapt ideas and practices from around Europe that help solve these issues. The guides and toolsets produced in the project provide support for small and large local governments, community initiatives and other local, regional and national actors in enhancing the development and activation of digital communities.
